If you follow the coastline South of Barcelona for about 20 miles you come to the popular seaside town of Sitges.

Once an artist's colony and a favourite spot of Salvador Dali it has become a destination for those looking for a lively beachfront atmosphere within easy reach of Barcelona. Filled with bars, shops and cafes as well as some well preserved parts of the old fishing village, Sitges has managed to retain its sense of style and sophistication.

The beaches are the main draw during the summer months but the town is lively all year round. The Carnival in February is a big draw and because of this the rental season in Sitges runs from February through to the end of October.
